Internship /Co-op Programs students
participate in valuable hands on experience through our
intern and co-op program. These programs are held
throughout the U.S. with leading environmental
companies. Our students have done internships in
Hawaii, Nebraska, Missouri, Alabama,
Tennessee, Pennsylvania, Kansas, and Ohio.
Scholarship Programs offered
to students through our NSF CSEMS Program. Selected
scholars conduct research during the course of the
project. The program focuses of Academic Enhancement,
Research and Training for SU Computer Science,
Engineering and Mathematics Students.
Student Outreach Programs
in mathematics and science for
Middle/High School Students. Over one-hundred students
have been impacted by these projects, which address the
mathematical and scientific educational concerns of
rural and socially and economically disadvantaged
State-of-the-art Geographical Information
Systems Laboratory allows
GIS experts to provide GIS services and hands on
training for faculty, students and various industry.
Our lab is a RS/GIS Lab, with a Gateway AL9200 Server, 8
Gateway workstations, Octave SG, Workstation and
end-of-the-line delivery systems. Silicon Graphics
Octane workstation-High Speed, State of the art high end
technology and Color-span OM 4200 8-ink color plotter
w/photo-glossy poster prints.
